ALL APPLICANTS ARE DRUG TESTED PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.
Any applicant testing positive for drugs will be disqualified for employment, now and in the future.
All prospective employees must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
To be considered for a direct care position with ILI, applicants must:

Possess a valid driver’s license;

Have continuous access to a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance for that vehicle;

Have continuous access to a personal cell phone;

Pass a motor vehicle records evaluation. ILI will not employ individuals with undesirable driving records in any position that involves transporting clients. The following criteria will be used to identify undesirable driving records:

More than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the past 3 years;

More than 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the past year;

One major conviction in the last 3 years, including:
-

Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or Driving Under the Influence (DUI);

Leaving the scene of the accident;

Careless or reckless driving;
-
Homicide or assault through use of a motor vehicle;

Attempting to elude a police officer;
-
A currently suspended or revoked license or 3 or more license suspensions or revocations in the past.
